Congregation Adas Emuno maintains a long tradition of Shabbat morning Torah Study, which runs from 10:00 to 11:15 AM, led by Rabbi Barry Schwartz. Come join us for intensive learning and provocative discussion.

Each year is devoted to a particular theme and textbook. This may range from traditional portion-of-the-week Torah study with commentary, to history, theology and ethics. Over the years we have studied the Mishneh Torah of Maimonides, family dynamics in the Tanakh, Turning Points in Jewish History, the history of the Reform movement, American Jewish history, the history of ancient Israel and modern Israel, and more! For more information, see our Torah Study page.

Our Poetry Garden group usually meets on the second Sunday of the month at 7 PM, in our garden during the warm weather months, and on Zoom for the rest of the year. Participants bring poems to read, Jewish poetry is especially welcome, but everyone is free to read poems of any kind, including original work that you care to share. Others come just to listen.
