Dear Friends,
"Summertime and the livin' is easy".
We welcome summer with the first of our three Shabbat Evening Patio Service (6:00 PM).
Our bimah band will liven things up, and a light supper will be served afterwards, including make-your-own ice cream sundaes!
This is also one of our open houses, so an ideal time to invite a prospective member to the shul.

A most intriguing Adult Education Speaker Program takes place on Sunday (10:00 AM- with bagels), when Bernard Ross, a long-time friend of Michael Fishbein, talks about his wild journey through the 60's- see the description below.

Our Adas Emuno Film Club meets via zoom on Monday (7:30 PM), to discuss Avalon, the multi-generation saga of a Baltimore Jewish family...that may resonate with your own.

Shabbat shalom,
Rabbi Schwartz

Note that our outdoor service this week will not be livestreamed.

On Sunday, June 7 at 10 am, our speaker program will feature Bernard Ross, whose memoir explores his unique and fascinating spiritual journey. In Sipping Sunlight, Ross tells the story of a restless seeker who chased enlightenment through psychedelics, communes, India, and three marriages--only to discover that grace had been guiding him all along. Raised by parents who survived the Holocaust and fought for a visa to come to America, Ross grew up carrying both inherited trauma and a hunger for meaning
