Dear Friends,
   Shavuot commences this evening- the giving of the Torah, the festival of first fruits... and blintzes.
 
   Tomorrow Rabbi Max and the cantor will lead our Shabbat/Shavuot Service (7:30 PM), featuring special melodies and words for the holiday.

   Of course, it is also Memorial Day weekend, and we honor the memory of our fallen before recitation of the Kaddish.

   Wishing you a joyful Shavuot and a meaningful Memorial Day.
