Dear Friends,
  You could not ask for a more lofty, or relevant, passage for our monthly reading of the Torah at our Shabbat Evening Service (7:30 PM). The Holiness Code of Leviticus, along with the Ten Commandments, which it echoes, is the great statement of ethics in the Hebrew Bible. 

  Our final session of Shabbat Morning Torah Study (10:00 AM) takes place this week, as we conclude an intense year on the history of antisemitism in America. Talk about relevancy- little did we know how significant this topic would be for our nation this year.

  Our Book Club meets via zoom on Monday (7:30 PM), discussing the always thought-provoking short stories of Phillip Roth.

  Note- next Shabbat is our annual Confirmation Service; the music and words from our teens is always inspirational. 

   Happy Mother's Day to all, including my mom, who turns 92 today!
